Park MGM

The Strip's most design-forward boutique resort — Park and NoMad at Monte Carlo's address.

3770 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Operated by: MGM Resorts International

Park MGM occupies the site of the former Monte Carlo Resort — which opened on June 21, 1996 — after a complete transformation completed in 2018 that repositioned the property from a generic mid-market resort to one of the most design-forward and culturally curated hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. The AUD 550 million renovation project erased the Monte Carlo brand entirely, replacing it with two co-located products: Park MGM (the main hotel) and NoMad Las Vegas (a boutique hotel-within-a-hotel in the upper floors).

NoMad Las Vegas brings the Sydell Group's New York hotel brand — known for its bibliophile aesthetic, art collections, and culinary credibility — to the Las Vegas market. The NoMad restaurant, originally a Michelin-starred New York City institution, operates within the hotel, and the NoMad Bar is considered one of the most stylish cocktail venues on the Strip. The hotel-within-a-hotel format allows Park MGM to serve both mainstream resort visitors and a design-conscious luxury segment simultaneously.

The casino floor covers approximately 100,000 square feet, and Park MGM became the first completely smoke-free casino on the Las Vegas Strip in 2021 — a positioning that differentiates it in a market where indoor smoking remains near-universal. The adjacent Park — a pedestrianised outdoor dining and entertainment precinct between Park MGM and T-Mobile Arena — is one of MGM Resorts' most successful urban placemaking projects.
