MGM Grand Las Vegas
The largest single hotel in the United States.
3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Operated by: MGM Resorts International
When the MGM Grand opened on December 18, 1993, it was the largest hotel in the world with 5,044 rooms and a 171,500 square-foot casino — a record it held for nearly two decades. Today, the MGM Grand remains one of the most visited resort properties in Las Vegas, hosting over 10 million visitors annually.
The casino is divided into distinct areas catering to different gaming styles: the main floor for slots and low-to-mid-limit table games, the high-limit salon for premium players, and the VIP Sky Loft for the highest-rolling guests. The property is home to the Grand Garden Arena, a 16,800-seat venue that has hosted some of the most famous boxing matches in history including Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao (2015) and Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather (2017).
The Skylofts at MGM Grand — a 51-floor luxury sky hotel operating within the main building — offers a hotel-within-a-hotel experience with private elevators, dedicated butler service, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Joël Robuchon at the Mansion, one of the most decorated restaurants in Las Vegas history, operated here until 2019.
