Wynn Palace
The Performance Lake and cable car gondola — Wynn's Cotai masterpiece.
Cotai Strip, Macau SAR, China
Operated by: Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A.
Wynn Palace opened on August 22, 2016 as Wynn Resorts' second Macau property and the company's most ambitious architectural statement. Centred on an 8-acre Performance Lake with choreographed fountain shows, the resort introduced a new language for arrival and spectacle to the Cotai Strip — one that owes more to the gardens of Versailles than to Las Vegas.
The property's signature feature is its gondola cable car system, which carries arriving guests from the Pac On Ferry Terminal across the Performance Lake to the main entrance — a bespoke, four-minute journey that frames the approach as an experience in itself rather than a transit inconvenience. This cable car approach is unique among casino resorts worldwide.
Inside, Wynn Palace maintains the rigorous material standards the Wynn brand is known for globally: hand-knotted Axminster carpets, museum-quality art installations in public areas, and a retail galleria housing Chanel, Dior, and Rolex among others. The 1,706 rooms and suites include some of the most expansive standard categories on the Cotai Strip. Sichuan Moon by André Chiang holds two Michelin stars, with Wing Lei Palace and SW Steakhouse completing the fine dining programme.
