The Londoner Macao

British culture, iconic landmarks, and Premier League football — London on the Cotai Strip.

Cotai Strip, Macau SAR, China

Operated by: Sands China Ltd.

The Londoner Macao opened progressively from 2021 as a complete reimagination of the former Sands Cotai Central complex, which had opened between 2012 and 2013. Sands China invested over USD 1.9 billion in the transformation, replacing a relatively conventional casino-hotel with a London-themed entertainment destination designed to attract a younger, experience-oriented demographic.

The exterior of The Londoner recreates iconic London architecture at monumental scale: a full-size replica of the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben), the Houses of Parliament façade, Trafalgar Square, and Tower Bridge elements frame the resort's public areas. Actors in Beefeater and Buckingham Palace guard costumes interact with guests outside. The immersive streetscaping extends inside, with a Covent Garden-inspired retail and dining level.

The casino floor, retaining much of the former Sands Cotai Central footprint, covers approximately 178,000 square metres across multiple levels. The resort's hotels include The Londoner Hotel (managed by Marriott), the Conrad Macao, and the Sheraton Grand Macao — together comprising over 5,800 rooms, making it one of the largest hotel complexes in the world. A dedicated sports bar and Premier League football broadcasting partnership makes The Londoner a destination for European football fans across Asia.
